At Indus Holidays, our cruiser is a classic blend of traditional craftsmanship & modernism. The majestic Kettuvallom (literally ‘boat of knots’) the traditional wooden boat of Kerala.
The ethnic master craftsman whose trade has been passed down over generations build the best using wood of the Aanjali (aini) tree.
The wooden planks are meticulously tied together in layers using handmade coir rope with layer upon layer of coconut fiber stuffed in between. Finishing touches are added using bamboo poles, palm the thatch and coir.
